THREE GENERATIONS OF PASSION AND EXPERTISE
Champagne Cordeuil Père & Fille is a family-run estate located in the heart of the Côte des Bar, a distinctive region of Champagne.
The story of Champagne Cordeuil Père & Fille is, above all, a family adventure that began in 1950, when Jeannine and Raymond Cordeuil replanted the first Pinot Noir vines on the AOC Champagne land inherited from Mariette and René Cordeuil.
After twenty years of working with the local cooperative cellar, Jeannine and Raymond made a bold decision in 1971: to produce their own Champagne. Two years later, in 1973, their children, Yves and Gilbert, joined the vineyard and replanted 3.5 hectares (3 hectares of Pinot Noir and 0.5 hectares of Chardonnay).
In 1985, after years of learning alongside his father, Gilbert took over the Champagne production, which was then marketed under the name "Cordeuil Père & Fils." Today, the vineyard is run by Gilbert and his daughter Erlande, who represents the third generation and ensures the continuity of the estate. Naturally, the domain has now become Champagne Cordeuil Père & Fille.
THE VINEYARD
Located at the heart of the Côte des Bar, the Champagne Cordeuil Père & Fille vineyard covers 4.12 hectares, spread across the slopes of Noé-les-Mallets, Fontette, and Ville-sur-Arce.

A Commitment to Sustainability
With a deep respect for the environment and terroir, the estate began its organic transition in 2015.
This commitment ensures a viticulture that respects both nature and the vine’s natural cycle.
A UNIQUE TERROIR
The terroir of the Aube is unique, shaped by a distinct climate influenced by the Langres plateau and a clay-limestone subsoil similar to that of Chablis.
🛑 In the Côte des Bar, don’t look for chalk… you won’t find it!
Unlike the terroirs of Reims or Épernay, the soils here give the wines an exceptional minerality, resulting in a distinctive, elegant, and expressive character.
WHEN PATIENCE MEETS EXCELLENCE
Every Champagne is unique, shaped by its terroir, grape variety, and the winemaker’s expertise.
At Cordeuil Père & Fille, time is an essential ally, far beyond the usual Champagne standards.
While most Champagnes spend significantly less time on the lees, Champagne Cordeuil Père & Fille takes a different approach, choosing to age its Champagnes for a minimum of 7 years in its cellars.
This exceptional maturation process allows the wines to naturally soften, reducing the need for added liqueur and fully expressing the grape’s aromas and the terroir’s minerality.
With a limited annual production of about 17,000 bottles, each cuvée is crafted with utmost care, ensuring rare quality and a truly unique signature.
