The Côte des Bar had to fight for its place in Champagne. Excluded from the region’s proposed boundaries in 1908, this southern vineyard area was finally fully admitted in 1927. Long valued as a source of Pinot Noir for houses farther north, it has since developed a strong identity of its own among grower-producers. This collection remains entirely in the Côte des Bar, with a long-aged Brut Tradition and a zero-dosage Brut Nature.
