Zejd
Zejd continues a family olive-oil tradition that began in 1822 in Baino, in Lebanon’s northern Akkar region. Agronomic engineer Youssef Fares took over the family business in 2004 and launched Zejd, introducing laboratory analysis, traceability and careful oxygen-free storage. Its certified-organic groves are planted to the indigenous Souri variety, producing oils noted for their freshness and peppery character.
