Dassemus
Ron Langeveld founded Wijngaard Dassemus near Chaam and became a pioneer of Dutch natural wine. In 2017, working with importer Marnix Rombaut and wine writer Simon Woolf, he produced the Netherlands’ first orange wine, Ceci n’est pas un orange. The organic and Demeter-certified vineyard is planted to disease-resistant PIWI varieties, which become spontaneously fermented white, orange, sparkling, rosé and red wines.
