Simon J. Woolf
British wine writer Simon J. Woolf founded The Morning Claret in 2011, concentrating on organic, biodynamic, natural and orange wine. Published in 2018, Amber Revolution was the first book to tell the complete history of skin-fermented white wine and won the 2019 Louis Roederer Wine Book of the Year award. He later co-authored Foot Trodden: Portugal and the Wines That Time Forgot with photographer Ryan Opaz, exploring the people, traditions and indigenous varieties of Portuguese wine. The collection includes English and Japanese editions of Amber Revolution.
