mawj is a small coastal project in Eddé, near Batroun, created by Maher Harb and two associates. Harb is a pioneer of natural winemaking in Lebanon. Organically farmed vineyards on limestone and clay overlook the Mediterranean; Grenache and Mourvèdre become fresh, unadorned reds, while Lunatiq explores indigenous Obeideh through changing forms of white and skin-contact wine.
