Domaine des Tourelles
Founded in Chtaura in 1868, Domaine des Tourelles is Lebanon’s oldest commercial winery. Faouzi Issa, who trained at Château Margaux and with René Rostaing, has brought a fresher, distinctly Lebanese direction to the estate; Jancis Robinson presented him as “the new Serge Hochar” in a 2018 article. The collection spans old-vine Cinsault and Carignan, indigenous Merweh and Obeideh, Syrah, and the distillery’s Arak Brun, GinBey and GlenBey.
